People are living longer and so are their horses. These days we take better care of our 1,000+ pound friends through proper diet, the right medications, shelter in summer and winter and a better understanding of their everyday needs. Some of our horses at Paint Creek Farm in Paige, Texas, are recovering from an injury. Most of our horses are in their twenties and are ready to retire from the show ring or from being a lesson horse.
